The Idea
More than a museum
Anchoring the podium of the building, the Brawn Family Centre for Community Innovation is the awe-inspiring heart of The Daisy: part gallery, part learning studio, part community living room.
The Centre invites visitors to explore the people, ideas, projects, and moments that have shaped Calgary, and to consider their own role in what comes next. It is participatory, civic, and built to awaken something in the people who visit.
The goal is not simply to document history. It is to connect local stories to timeless human lessons: leadership, courage, generosity, civic imagination, and the belief that ordinary Calgarians can help shape the city's future.
